Read our FAQ? Have some extra time available in March? Ready to step up and take action together in defense of our homes and future? Great!
There are essentially two ways to participate in the Walk. The first is as a day walker. If you live near the Walk route, you’ll be able to meet us and walk with us during the day. And since you live close by, you’ll be able to return home to sleep and won’t need to camp. Remember to bring friends! You’re the key to this turning into something big.
The second way to participate is as thru walker or section walker. You’ll need to bring a tent, sleeping bag, clothes, and umbrella, and other sundries (we’ll supply you with a list of suggested items). Delicious and nutritious meals will be provided. The suggested contribution for each thru walker/section walker is $10 per person per day to partially cover expenses. Those who can contribute more, should. All of us will need to use this opportunity to educate and to fund raise among friends, families, and community members. We’ll provide help with that through customizable sign up forms once you register.
